Married: 22nd February 2020 Location: South Shields Venue: Sailing Club
Brenda and Kerian booked me 2 months before there wedding day and being a February wedding and out of season I was available to say yes, this was all done the week before Christmas. Brenda and Kerian don't do things by halves they were planning a wedding, moving to Scotland ( WOW I love it there) and starting a new job plus Christmas was coming up. This is one of the reasons we couldn't meet but a conference was the next best thing.
South Shields Sailing Club: Wedding Day
I love coming back to venues and doing new ones too, especially with so much on the doorstep for photo opportunities.
A very windy day but that didn't stop anyone having a fantastic one, with a lovely and ceremony made personal to Brenda and Kirean, with a slide show of them playing in the background, giving everyone something to smile, laugh out loud and cry it was just beautiful.
After the ceremony, we went to a bandstand at a park, not too far for a few pictures and with a shortage of transport Brenda and Kirean asked if they could come with me so I became their wedding car for a brief time which was my honour.
If you haven’t seen much of my work yet I would describe my style as a documentary wedding photographer, I want my photos to take you back to that moment and that time and remind you how you beautiful day unfolded (as if you would forget).
