I get asked a lot of questions, I often hear "this may be a silly question but..."

There is no such thing as a silly question, if you need to know something just ask I'm happy to answer it.  A wedding is not something you organise everyday. There will naturally be many questions that you may have regarding your wedding photography, so I have listed some of these on this page. I'm sure other questions are running through your mind that I haven't answered,  but I hope to answer most of them and for the other things, well we can chat about them just contact me, I don't bite I promise. Q: Where are you based, and would you be able to be our photographer our wedding is...
I live in Stockton-on-Tess, in the North East of England, if you haven't heard of my little town its near, Middlesbrough, Thirsk, not too far from me we have Newcastle slightly north of me and York slightly south. Q: Do you have insurance?
Yes I have business insurance which includes public liability.
Q: What equipment do you have/use?
I have just about 2 of everything just incase, canon DSLR full frame sensor x2, off camera flashes x2, and endless amount of batteries to keep me going a full day, light stands the list does go on but those are the most important ones
Q: When and how do we book?
As soon as you have the date for your wedding to avoid loosing out to someone else, you should think about booking me sooner rather than later, to make sure your date is available. Once you pay your deposit (£195) the date is yours. I sometimes get book up to 2 years in advance. Your deposit also secures the current prices which may increase later.
Q: How many photos can I expect?
This, depends on a few factors, first of all how many hours you would like me to cover your wedding and also how many guest you have? 6 hour coverage you can expect 300-600 photos and 8 hour coverage 400-700.
Q: Can we meet up before we book?
I always like to meet the happy couple, I think its important too. Where? I can come to you or we can meet up for a coffee at...
Q: Where else can I see your work?
I have social media accounts that you can see more of my work and reviews, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and google, and my review page
Q: Is it just you?
Yes, but if you would like another photographer too I work closely with other professional wedding photographers that would be happy to do this, this can be arrange as additional option.
Q: Do we need / get a contract?
Yes this is very important for both you and I, this is to reassure you exactly what you can expect from me and as all weddings are different they need to be made specific for you.
Q: How long till we have our photograph's?
You will receive a teaser slide show within 48 hours from your wedding day. All photo's are ready between 2-3 weeks after your wedding you will receive a link to your password protected online wedding gallery. It can take 3-5 weeks during the busy season. I do offer a express service which means your images will be ready within 5 days of your wedding (subject to availability) see my wedding packages for more detail
Q: Who / How does the album process work?
I will personally design the album layout to ensure it tells the story of your day the way it unfolded. I would then send you a copy and this would be your opportunity to make any alterations with the choice of picture or layout. Once you are happy with the design production takes 2-4 weeks.
