Who Are You Investing In?
I am a North Yorkshire wedding photographer and I love my job, this is my life my passion and I can't imagine doing anything else, I work hard for all my wedding couples to help their wedding day feel like their own. My style is natural, relaxed, fun and beautiful. I love to take photos in a documentary-styled way, which allows me to capture, moments and emotions and that you can re-live through my pictures, no matter what you are planning for your big day. Dogs as ring bearers? Let's do it. Bring your motorbike? Go for it. How about a breakdance battle for your first dance? Yes! Intimate wedding in your backyard? If you decide that I am the right person for your wedding, you should know you are getting a photographer with over 8 years of experience, I don’t know yet what you have in mind, but I can’t wait to plan with you.
I Love To Travel
As your wedding photographer, location is never a problem, I love to travel around the UK, Europe, and well really the World. Although I spend most of my time around the stunning North Yorkshire, and the beautiful Northumberland, and let's not leave Lake District out, the list does go on... That doesn't mean I don't go further. I always love to visit new places so no matter where your ideal location is, send me a quick 'Hello', and I would love to photograph your journey. Whether you are comfortable in front of the lens or not, I have plenty of experience to help create your natural photos without feeling too weird.
More About Me
A bit more about me, well first things first my name! Most people first think it's Italian but actually, my parents are Greek Cypriot, I was born in the North East of England, where I have spent most of my life. The next thing is how do you pronounce Georgiou? It's George-ee-oo (but don't worry if you are still not sure, this is very often a great conversation starter!)
I married my beautiful wife Libby who is from North Yorkshire, Thirsk to be exact and I have three amazing children. Two girls, a boy and a man's best friend, my dog. Why photography? Well, my mother gave me my first camera when I was about 8/9, and as nobody in my family was able to use it (or wanted to use it) from there my love for photography was born.
I love documenting weddings exactly as they happen in real-time, capturing the natural, relaxed moments of emotion, joy, and intimacy. Wedding photography is a passion, I love what I do, and I’m incredibly lucky to be able to capture moments of love and happiness that you can look back on for years to come.
