What style of wedding photography do you offer?

I photograph weddings in a relaxed, documentary style – capturing the natural, fun and emotional moments of the day without constant posing. My focus is on authentic storytelling, so you can enjoy your wedding without worrying about the camera.

What makes your wedding photography different?

My approach is all about keeping things natural and fun. I don’t stage endless setups or make you feel awkward. Instead, I blend in with your guests, capturing real moments and genuine emotions while still making time for a handful of relaxed group shots if you’d like them.

Do you take group photos as well as candid moments?

Yes, absolutely. While most of my work is documentary and candid, I know group photos with family and friends are important. I keep them quick, relaxed and stress-free so you can get back to enjoying your day.

Do you cover weddings across the North East?

Yes, I cover weddings across the North East including Newcastle, Durham, Northumberland, Darlington and beyond. I also travel further afield if you'd like me to capture your day elsewhere.

Do you photograph weddings at venues like Healey Barn, Rockliffe Hall and South Causey Inn?

Yes, I regularly photograph weddings at popular North East venues such as Healey Barn, Rockliffe Hall, South Causey Inn and many more. I also love exploring new venues, so wherever you’re celebrating, I’d be happy to capture it.

Do you photograph camera-shy couples?

Absolutely! Most of my couples tell me they’re not naturals in front of the camera. My approach is completely relaxed – I won’t make you do awkward poses. Instead, I capture genuine moments so you can just be yourselves.

Can you handle bad weather at weddings?

Yes – living in the North East means I’m well used to unpredictable weather! Whether it’s sunny, rainy or anything in between, I’ll work with it creatively to make sure your photos look fantastic.

Do you include dogs in wedding photos?

Yes! I love it when couples bring their dogs along. They’re part of the family and I’ll make sure they’re included in your photos in a natural, fun way.

How far in advance should we book you?

Most couples book 12–24 months in advance, especially for peak summer weekends. I recommend getting in touch as soon as you have a date to make sure I’m available.

What’s included in your wedding photography packages?

My packages are designed to suit a wide range of couples. They always include full coverage of your wedding day, hundreds of edited images in a private online gallery, and the freedom to print and share as you like. Extras such as albums and engagement shoots are also available.

How do payments work?

To secure your date I ask for a £300 booking fee, with the remaining balance due 30 days before your wedding day. This keeps things simple and stress-free.

Do you offer engagement shoots?

Yes – engagement shoots are a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera before your big day. They’re relaxed, fun and a brilliant way to get some lovely photos of you together.

Do you work with videographers?

Yes, I regularly work alongside videographers and other suppliers. I’m happy to recommend people I’ve worked well with if you’d like suggestions.

How long after the wedding will we get our photos?

I know you’ll be excited to see your photos, so I always send a preview within a few days. Your full gallery is normally ready within 6–8 weeks.
