I have been a North East and Destination wedding photographer for many years now and The Hidden Oak is a very new and soon-to-be popular wedding venue, which just so happens to be a 5-minute drive from me. Choosing a photographer for The Hidden Oak wedding is not as easy so I will try to change that, here are the steps for me to become your wedding photographer.
Step 1 - Contact me and check I am available I will reply no later than 24 hours
Step 2- Lets meet or have a Zoom call (book your appointment slot)
Step 3- Pay your deposit to secure the day (£300)
Step 4- Relax and wait for me to send you helpful links and information that will help with the rest of your wedding planning.
I am an honest person so I will say I haven't yet been to photograph here at The Hidden Oak, but I have booked my first wedding here for 2024. Once I have done their photos I will update this page with some amazing photos so please come back to check!

The Hidden Oak
The Hidden Oak is a new (2022) and beautiful wedding location close to Stockton On Tees, North Yorkshire, where couples may make their wedding fantasies come true. This location, which is located in the centre of Durham on 200 acres of breathtakingly beautiful private grounds, has everything couples could possibly need to celebrate their wedding in style. The Hidden Oak is the ideal location to create wedding memories that will last a lifetime. It has stunning lawns, immaculate flower gardens, and lush scenery as far as the eye can reach.
The Hidden Oak has a variety of features that couples will adore and can accommodate weddings of all sizes. Award-winning landscape architect Lizze Tulip created the surrounding gardens, which make for a wonderful setting for wedding ceremonies outside and photos. Wedding couples will discover a contemporary barn where they can have their wedding breakfast tucked between two serene lakes. The barn is very stunning, with exposed oak beams and a terrace made of Yorkshire stone all around it. Large bi-fold doors provide an abundance of natural light throughout the day, resulting in a dreamy and spacious atmosphere. When night falls, the area is turned into the perfect party locale where visitors may dance all night long.
The staff at Hidden Oak strives to give couples and their loved ones an amazing experience. Each wedding will be smooth and pleasurable thanks to a committed wedding coordinator. For more space, couples might create marquees, tipis, or yurts. On-site live music venues and a dance floor are available. The team's in-house caterers handle the catering and will create a gastronomic masterpiece to fit each couple's preferences. The location is pet-friendly, and confetti, pyrotechnics, and baraats are all permitted. This well-kept secret is reachable and even boasts a helipad for those who want to arrive in style.

Yes, I have business insurance which includes public liability.
WHERE ELSE CAN I SEE YOUR WORK?
Yes, but if you would like another photographer too I work closely with other professional wedding photographers that would be happy to do this, this can be arranged as an additional option.
HOW MANY PHOTOS CAN I EXPECT?
This, depends on a few factors, first of all, how many hours you would like me to cover for your wedding and also how many guests and details do you have? For 6-hour coverage, you can expect 300-600 photos, for 7-hour coverage 400-700 and for 10 hours 500-1000
WHAT IS A REASONABLE AMOUNT TO SPEND ON A WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER?
In the UK for a good photographer to cover the full day, would start from £1,200
