Wedding Photography At North Yorkshire, East Harsley
So I asked the beatuful Robyn & Lauren
How did you meet?
Back in 2016 at a Summer camp in Pennsylvania, USA. Our first encounter was Robyn throwing a softball at Lauren and telling her "to make herself useful" You'd could say it wasn't necessarily Love at first sight, as from Lauren's perspective she was thinking who is this bossy Southerner. However those feelings soon developed, strong and fast. After spending 10 weeks together we decided to try out the long distance thing, and after travelling back and forth 4-5 hours a time every weekend we decided to go on our biggest adventure to date... travelling for just under 3 years. We traveled South East Asia & Australasia and Lauren popped the question in Australia in front of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. We returned back to the UK 4 months later, survived lock down together bought our new home in April 2021, moved in on Thursday and welcomed our beloved pooch (Whiskey) on the Friday. We now spend our weekends on long country walks, and trialing out every doggy friendly cafe, brunch and lunch spot.

Why did you choose the Venue over all overs?
We wanted to do a DIY wedding and mainly wanted to keep costs down as much as possible so we could splash out more on the Honeymoon. We love the idea of what can be achieved at the venue.
Why did you choose me as your photographer?
We loved the relaxed and friendly vibe you initially give off when we first met you. We instantly felt like we would be in safe hands, and really liked that you took an interest in what we wanted and didn't push or put pressure on us. We also know a couple who had previously used you and their photos were fab.
Could you give 1 or more advice/tips for others who are planning their wedding?
Don't rush the process, take your time as there is no rule dictating when things have to be done. The day is about you and your partner - never lose sight of this.
The Wedding Day
I started my day at Cleveland Tontine where I did Robyn's Bridal preparation, which was a lovely calm place and fun it was great to capture her with her mum and sister for a lovely intimate morning between them all. Robyn's dad came to the hotel to give her away but not before we did a reveal, and dads expression is exactly what you would expect it to be!
We left to go to East Harsely village hall where they were having the ceremony and reception. I met Lauren there for her photos and she arrived in styled, a mustang!
The day started calm but it didn't stay that way it was the best day, and the best way to celebrate it too which is best described with one word, "party"
Now let the photos do the talking...
