Newcastle Wedding Venues, From a Photographer Who's Been There
Whether you want a city wedding in Newcastle or a country house just outside, there are brilliant venues on your doorstep. I'm a documentary wedding photographer based in the North East, and rather than list venues I've never set foot in, these are ten in and around Newcastle that I've actually photographed, with links to real weddings at each one.

In the city
01. Jesmond Dene House
A beautiful country house hotel tucked into Jesmond Dene, so you get a leafy, peaceful feel without leaving the city. See Alex & Emma's wedding.
02. As You Like It
In Jesmond, a relaxed and stylish city venue, and part of the same family as Le Petit Château, Runa Farm and Newton Hall.
03. Wylam Brewery
In Exhibition Park, and perfect for couples who want something a little different with a proper party feel. See Naomi & Sam's wedding.
Just outside Newcastle
04. Horton Grange
A country house just north of Newcastle that really suits my documentary style. See my Horton Grange highlights.
05. Le Petit Château
Near Otterburn, and one of my favourites, with at least 7 weddings photographed here. The house, fountain and gardens are gorgeous, and the bar and chapel are great if it rains.
06. Healey Barn
A stone barn near Riding Mill, west of the city. I've photographed 5 weddings here, and between the woods, the field and the barn itself, there's always a great spot.
07. Halton Grove
Near Corbridge in the Tyne Valley. See Ben & Alex's wedding.
08. Matfen Hall
A grand country estate west of Newcastle, with plenty of space for photos inside and out.
09. Woodhill Hall
