Paul & Kay married at the beautiful Ruspool Hall, In North Yorkshire, Saltburn
I loved being their wedding photographer here at Rushpool Hall it is a beautiful Manor House in the North Yorkshire countryside.
With so much space inside and out, a getting-ready room for the bridal party, and a Honeymoon Suite to end a perfect day, Rushpool Hall is the perfect venue to have a wedding. Rushpool Hall is minutes away from Saltburn and overlooks the North Sea. This is my first wedding here and is now on my top list of favourite wedding venues to photograph.
It was a grey overcast day for Kay & Paul but that didn't matter they still had an amazing day, and a big thanks to that is from the Rushpool Hall staff, they were just brilliant in every way so I would like to personally say thank you and I can't wait to come back very soon.
Rushpool Hall is only a 5-minute drive to Saltburn Beach which is another option if you wanted photos on Saltburn Pier, and beach, well that's possible, how many venues can you say that?
The day was wonderful, relaxed, beautiful and much more here at Rushpool Hall from start to finish and the one word that I could come up with the day for them would be FAMILY!
Between them they had 5 amazing boys, the eldest gave Kay away and it was emotional to everyone there and especially him. It was a beautiful day to see and catch from the moment he saw his mum in her dress for the first time, to when he walked her down the aisle and his speech too.

Kay & Paul met on a night out in Sunderland back in 2017, Kay is a qualified teacher but now working as a children’s support worker for domestic abuse service and Paul is a football coach at Middlesbrough FC academy and his new role as a football coach and sports lecturer at Hartlepool Sixth Form. Sounds like 2 very busy people es[paecaly with 5 kids, I want to know how they do it!
They have a dog Nala who came for the full day which I love. Kay is from Hartlepool and Paul Peterlee originally lived in Seaham.
Paul popped the question on 25th June 2021 in Sam’s Bar Sunderland, where they first met and had their first date.
They choose Rushpool Hall, because they love the style of the venue, that it has castle vibes and it has sea views too!
I was recommended to them by someone with who I did a newborn photo shoot, which I loved, Kay then followed me on Instagram and she loved my style and energy (her words not mine 😁)
So I asked them could you give 1 or more pieces of advice/tips for others that are planning their wedding.
Follow what you want/believe in and not because it’s ‘the norm’ ie we aren’t having a cake because Paul isn’t fussed about the cake and at every wedding, I’ve been to, it seems to get wasted! And the wedding cake is expensive we would rather spend money on something else.
