Sunshine, Good Vibes & A Proper Party at Newton Hall

Some wedding days just feel easy, and when they are in Northumberland you know the weather is unpredictable but you know its going to be stunning.

No rushing around. No stress. No strict timelines being watched every five minutes. Just people having a great time together.

That pretty much sums up Mollie and Jordan's wedding at Newton Hall.

The day started with Mollie getting ready in the garden room with her bridesmaids and it was exactly the sort of atmosphere you hope to walk into as a photographer. Music on, plenty of laughs and everyone genuinely enjoying the morning. You could tell from the start that this was going to be a fun one.

Outside, the weather was doing us a favour too. The sun was out for most of the day and Newton Hall looked incredible. Not that it needs much help. It's one of those venues that seems to look good from every angle.

One thing I always love about Newton Hall is that you don't need to go hunting for photo locations. You can literally turn a corner and find another great backdrop. Mollie and Jordan wanted to keep things relaxed and spend time with their guests, so we made the most of the venue itself and it delivered every single time.

The whole day had a real party feel to it. The laughs never stopped and there always seemed to be something happening somewhere. Even during quieter moments there was a buzz around the place.

I often talk couples into heading down to the beach when I'm at Newton Hall if the weather plays nice. It's so close that it feels rude not to sometimes. Mollie and Jordan were happy to stay at the venue though, and honestly, with a backdrop like Newton Hall, I can't blame them.

As the day rolled on, the celebrations only got louder. The dance floor was busy, the drinks were flowing mainly espresso martinis and baby Guinness came in a close second for choose of drinks, and everyone looked like they were having exactly the sort of wedding day you hope for.

No fuss. No pretending. Just a brilliant day spent with the people that matter most.

Mollie and Jordan, thanks for having me along. It was an absolute pleasure to photograph your day and spend it with such a great group of people.
