Styled Shoot at Wyresdale Weddings
Where do I start, Wyresdale Weddings in Lancashire is one of those rare places that feels instantly calm and inviting the moment you arrive. The mix of rustic charm, bright natural light and thoughtful design makes it a perfect location for a creative workshop. When Belle Bridal invited me to take part in their styled shoot here I knew it would be a great opportunity to let my creativity run free and build on my skills in a setting that already inspires so many couples.
Why I Love Styled Workshops
I dont do as many as I would like to, with my wedding seasons being so busy and I do lots of other things like workshops but as a wedding photographer it is important to keep growing and exploring new ideas so I try to fit these in when I can. Creative workshops like this are the perfect place to play and experiment. They give me the freedom to play with light in a different way, movement and composition without the time pressure of a real wedding day. I always come away feeling refreshed with a few new ideas that I can bring into future weddings. Wyresdale Weddings it is an ideal space for this kind of creative work because every corner feels like it is made for photography.
The Setting at Wyresdale Weddings
Even though it rained all day during our workshop, Wyresdale Weddings still gave us so much to work with. The barns are full of soft natural light and rustic textures, so staying indoors never felt like a limitation and lets be honest here in the UK we have to be prepare to stay indoor for a wedding I=even in summer! Never worried thought, it actually gave me the chance to explore the venue in a more intimate way and focus on the details that make Wyresdale so unique.
The potential outdoors is endless and I cannot wait to come back on a brighter day to explore the grounds properly. The countryside setting, the open spaces and the beautiful views are everything a photographer could hope for. I already have so many ideas in mind for when the weather lets us venture outside.

Belle Bridal always curate sessions with a great team of suppliers and this shoot was no different. Every detail was thought through from the styling in the barns to the florals and dresses. It made the whole experience flow effortlessly and allowed all of us to focus on creating beautiful images that feel modern, natural and full of life.
