Teesside Wedding Venues, From a Photographer Who Lives Here

I'm a documentary wedding photographer based in Stockton on Tees, so these venues are on my doorstep. Rather than list places I've never set foot in, these are Teesside venues, plus a couple just over the border, that I've actually photographed, with links to real weddings at each one.

Have a look at my Teesside wedding photographer page too. Travel is included in all my wedding packages across Teesside.

Middlesbrough and Stockton

01. Acklam Hall

A restored 17th century hall right in Middlesbrough, with a proper sense of occasion. See Neil and Gill's wedding.

02. The Treebridge Hotel

A Middlesbrough favourite. I've photographed seven weddings here, and Roseberry Topping is only a short drive away if you fancy a few photos with a view. See Jacob and Frankie's summer wedding.

03. The Hidden Oak

Just outside Stockton and five minutes from my front door. Family run, with woodland paths, lakes and a barn that looks brilliant at golden hour. See my Hidden Oak highlights.

04. Wynyard Hall

A stately home on the Wynyard estate, between Stockton and Durham. I started 2024 here with a surprise New Year's Day wedding, fireworks and all. Read Nonie and Jonathan's story.

Yarm, Guisborough and the coast

05. Crathorne Hall

Near Yarm, on the edge of the moors, with views over the Leven Valley. I'm one of their recommended suppliers, so I know the house and gardens well. See Rob and Emma's wedding.

06. Gisborough Hall

A country house hotel in Guisborough, at the foot of the Cleveland Hills. See Nick and Elizabeth's wedding.

07. Rushpool Hall

A Victorian manor house minutes from Saltburn, overlooking the North Sea, with plenty of space inside and out. See Paul and Kay's wedding.

Just over the border

08. Howard Court

Near Great Ayton, with Roseberry Topping right behind it. I photographed its very first wedding, I've been back many times since, and I'm now one of their recommended suppliers.

09. Hardwick Hall

In Sedgefield, with Hardwick Park on the doorstep. See Matthew and Lucy's sneak peek.

Choosing your Teesside venue

A few things worth asking any venue: Where can we go for photos if it rains? Where will the sun be in the evening? Can we use the grounds for a short walk? And how far is it from where you're both getting ready?
